Everything Pump² does, in detail. New here? Start with How it works.

Overview

Pump² is a launchpad for pump.fun coins. A coin starts on Pump²'s own bonding curve, which runs pump.fun's math, under rules the creator picks at launch (hooks) and the program enforces on every trade. When the curve sells out, the program creates the coin on pump.fun and buys out pump.fun's curve with the SOL raised, so the coin graduates there as a real pump.fun coin with its canonical PumpSwap pool.

A coin can also launch Everywhere: on Meteora's curve instead, as a real token any app can trade from the first block. At the bond, Pump²'s bridge turns it into a real pump.fun coin the same way, and holders swap their Meteora tokens for it 1:1. The sections up to Creator earnings cover Pump²'s own curve; Everywhere launches have their own.

1Launch
Name, picture and hooks. The coin doesn't exist on pump.fun yet.
2Trade on the curve
Shares change hands on pump.fun's curve math, and every trade follows the hooks.
3Graduate
At about 85 SOL raised, one transaction creates the coin on pump.fun and buys out its curve.
4Live on pump.fun
PumpSwap pool, pump.fun page, creator fees. Shares become tokens, one for one.
Or: refunds
A launch with locked sells and a deadline that doesn't sell out in time stops taking buys, and every buyer gets their SOL back, all but the platform fee. A coin that sells out but can't graduate within 7 days turns to refunds too (with locked sells, 2 days past the deadline if that comes first): with locked sells everyone again gets back all but the platform fee; without, the SOL is shared by shares held.

The curve

Each launch copies pump.fun's starting curve from pump.fun's own settings on chain. It's a constant-product curve over virtual reserves:

Virtual SOL
Value: 30 SOL
What it is: Where the price starts
Virtual tokens
Value: 1,073,000,000
What it is: The other side of the product
For sale
Value: 793,100,000
What it is: Shares the curve sells, so tokens the graduation buys
Total supply
Value: 1,000,000,000
What it is: The coin's supply on pump.fun; caps and market cap use it
Raise
Value: ~85 SOL
What it is: SOL on the curve when it sells out
Market cap
Value: 27.96 → 410.9 SOL
What it is: At launch, and at graduation

The math

price = virtual SOL ÷ virtual tokens  ·  market cap = price × total supply
shares for a buy = SOL in (after fees) × virtual tokens ÷ (virtual SOL + SOL in)
SOL for a sell = shares × virtual SOL ÷ (virtual tokens + shares), before fees
raise = virtual SOL × for sale ÷ (virtual tokens − for sale)

A buy adds its SOL to the virtual SOL and takes its shares from the virtual tokens; a sell does the reverse. Amounts round in the curve's favour, like pump.fun. The last buy takes exactly the shares left and pays only what they cost.

The bonding curve
Price rises with every SOL in: the first SOL buys far more tokens than the last. Half the tokens for sale are gone by about 18 SOL raised, only 21% of the way to graduation.

Shares and tokens

Before the bond, the coin doesn't exist yet: you hold shares, recorded for your wallet in a position account. They can be sold back to the curve (unless the hooks say otherwise) but not sent to another wallet. At graduation the program buys exactly one pump.fun token per share sold, and each share is claimed as one token.

Fees

Platform fee
Rate: 1%
On: Buys and sells
Goes to: Pump²
Graduation reserve
Rate: 2%
On: Buys
Goes to: The launch's vault, to pay pump.fun's fees when the curve is bought out (about 1.25%, plus rent; the 0.3% of it that's pump.fun's creator fee comes back to the coin's creator). What's left goes to the creator at graduation.
Creator tax
Rate: 0 to 5% each side
On: Buys, sells
Goes to: The creator (and fee-split wallets)
Anti-snipe fee
Rate: Up to 50%, falling to 0
On: Buys and sells in its window
Goes to: The creator; on the creator's own trades, Pump²

The platform fee, the reserve, the larger of the two taxes (with any grudge tax added to the buy tax) and the anti-snipe fee's starting rate can't add up to more than 60%. Fees come off the SOL first; the rest trades on the curve. A launch keeps the platform fee and reserve it was made with: if the launchpad's rates change later, only launches made after that pay the new ones.

Where 1 SOL of a buy goes
Buys tokens on the curve0.950 SOL
Graduation reserve0.020 SOL
Platform fee0.010 SOL
Creator tax0.020 SOL
Fees come off the top, then the rest buys at the curve's price. The reserve pays pump.fun's fees at graduation; what's left of it goes to the creator. All of them together can't pass 60%. A sell pays the 1% platform fee and the sell tax, no reserve.
Anti-snipe fee: 30% at open, gone after 60s
It falls by the second. A buy 15s in pays 22.5% on top of the usual fees; from 60s on, nothing. It goes to the creator, like a tax, and applies to sells in the window too.

Hooks

Hooks are set in the launch transaction and can't be changed afterwards by anyone, the creator included. The program checks the ones that apply on every buy, sell, claim and payout.

Scheduled open
What it does: No trades before the time set. Everyone starts at the same moment, at the launch price.
Limits: Up to 7 days ahead
One-price window
What it does: Buys in the window are pooled; when it closes, the pool buys on the curve at once and each buyer gets shares in proportion to their SOL. No sells while it's open.
Limits: Up to 10 minutes. Not with an anti-snipe fee.
Anti-snipe fee
What it does: A fee on top of the usual ones that falls in a straight line from its starting rate to nothing over its window. Applies to buys and sells; goes to the creator.
Limits: Up to 50%, over up to 1 hour
Whitelist window
What it does: Only listed wallets can buy until the window ends. The list is kept on chain as a Merkle root; the creator is always on it.
Limits: Up to 24 hours
Holders only
What it does: Only wallets holding at least a set amount of a token the creator picks (an NFT, a membership coin) can buy. Checked on every buy; the creator is exempt.
Limits: Any SPL or Token-2022 token
Creator's block
What it does: Nobody but the creator can buy in the block the launch is made in, so the first buy, sent with the launch, is the only one there.
Limits: On or off; not with a scheduled open
Anti-bundle
What it does: At most this many buys land in one block, anyone's. A bundle of side wallets gets the first few; the rest fail.
Limits: 1 to 20 buys per block
Sniper-fee cap
What it does: For a window after the open, a buy is refused if its transaction pays more priority fee than the cap, or sends more SOL in plain transfers than the tip cap (tips to Jito and the like go that way, and so does a terminal's fee). The creator is exempt. A tip paid from another transaction in the same bundle can't be seen.
Limits: Up to 1 SOL each, for up to 24 hours or until the bond
Wallet cap
What it does: No wallet may hold more than this share of the total supply before the bond.
Limits: 0.1% to 100%
Rising wallet cap
What it does: The wallet cap starts where it's set and rises every so often, by a fixed step or doubling, so a sniper can only take a small bag at the open.
Limits: Every 1 minute to 7 days
Sell cap
What it does: The most one wallet may sell in one block, as a share of the supply; several sells in one block count together. Optionally smaller for big bags: a wallet holding the big-bag size or more gets the smaller cap, and smaller bags something in between.
Limits: Up to 100% of the supply
The Grudge
What it does: A wallet that sells a set share of its bag within 24 hours has dumped. For a while after, its buys pay a tax on top, to the creator, or it can't buy at all. Optionally longer each time it dumps again, up to 8 times as long.
Limits: 25% to all of a bag; up to 30 days; tax up to 50%
Biggest buy
What it does: The most SOL a single buy may spend, fees included.
Limits: At least 0.01 SOL
Hold time
What it does: A wallet can't sell within this long of its last buy.
Limits: Up to 7 days
Dev lock
What it does: The creator's wallet can't sell before the bond.
Limits: On or off
Buy and sell tax
What it does: A share of every buy and every sell, to the creator.
Limits: Up to 5% each
Locked sells + refund deadline
What it does: Nobody sells on the curve. If it hasn't sold out by the deadline, buys stop and everyone is refunded.
Limits: Deadline up to 30 days, always with locked sells, after any one-price window
Vesting
What it does: At the bond, part of a position unlocks; the rest unlocks in a straight line over the vesting time. Covers everyone, the creator, or the creator and every wallet holding at least a set share of the supply.
Limits: Up to 90 days; under 100% at the bond
Buyback & burn
What it does: A share of the coin's pump.fun creator fees buys the coin on its PumpSwap pool and burns it. Optionally only on dips.
Limits: 0.01% to 100% of the fees; dips up to 90%
Holder rewards
What it does: A share of the coin's pump.fun creator fees is shared over the tokens from before the bond that holders keep in Pump².
Limits: 0.01% to 100% of the fees
Fee split
What it does: Wallets that get a fixed part of everything the creator earns from the coin, its pump.fun creator fees included: the launch's vault becomes the coin's creator on pump.fun, so the program can split them.
Limits: Up to 3 wallets, 100% in all

The one-price window

In the window, a buy pays its fees and the rest waits in a pool. When the window closes, the next trade (or anyone, with one call) buys the whole pool on the curve at once. Everyone in the window gets the same price per share, and shares in proportion to their SOL. The quote in the window is an upper bound: the more SOL joins, the fewer shares each SOL gets.

Five buyers, 3 SOL each: the price they pay, SOL per million tokens
Bought one after another, each pays more than the one before, so whoever gets in first, usually a bot, gets the most. In a one-price window the same five buys are pooled and filled together when it closes: everyone pays 0.0419 SOL per million tokens, and gets tokens in proportion to their SOL.

Combining them

  • A one-price window and an anti-snipe fee don't go together: one price for all makes the falling fee pointless.
  • Locked sells always come with a refund deadline, so buyers' SOL can't be stuck on a curve that never sells out.
  • The refund deadline has to come after the one-price window.
  • The whitelist and the one-price window can overlap: listed wallets pool their buys first.

Graduation

On this site, the buy that takes the last share also graduates the coin, in the same transaction. Otherwise the crank sends the graduation on its own within seconds of the curve selling out; anyone else can send it too. Whoever sends the graduation, the last buyer here included, gets 0.010 SOL from the reserve's leftover.

One transaction
1Last buy
It takes the last share; made on this site, it graduates the coin in the same transaction. Otherwise the crank, or anyone, sends the graduation on its own within seconds. Whoever sends it, the last buyer here included, gets 0.010 SOL for it.
2Create on pump.fun
The launch's vault creates the coin with pump.fun's own create instruction: same name, ticker and picture.
3Buy out its curve
The vault spends the ~85 SOL raised buying pump.fun's whole curve, so it completes at once.
4Hold the tokens
Every token bought sits in the vault: exactly one per share sold. The reserve's leftover goes to the creator.
Right after (the crank, or anyone)
Pool opens
pump.fun's migration opens the coin's canonical PumpSwap pool, usually seconds after graduation. Until then nobody can trade the coin, and its page says the pool is opening.
Tokens go out
Once the pool is open, each holder's shares become tokens in their wallet, all at once or as they vest. Holder-rewards coins keep them in Pump² until claimed.
  • The coin's creator on pump.fun is the launch's creator, so pump.fun's creator fees go to them, unless the coin has an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets: then it's the launch's vault, and the program shares the fees out.
  • The reserve pays pump.fun's fees on the buyout; what's left of it, after the graduation reward, goes to the creator.
  • Then the coin's canonical PumpSwap pool opens: the crank sends pump.fun's migration (which anyone may send) on its next pass, usually seconds after graduation. Until it's open nobody can trade the coin, and its page says the pool is opening. Tokens go out once it is.
  • Once a curve sells out it takes no more sells: graduation comes next. A sold-out launch with locked sells that still hasn't graduated 2 days past its deadline, or any sold-out launch that hasn't graduated 7 days after selling out (say pump.fun was down), turns to refunds: the crank sends it, and anyone can press Turn to refunds on the coin's page.

From launch to PumpSwap, in numbers

One coin with no creator tax or anti-snipe fee, worked through with pump.fun's curve on this network and the launchpad's fees. The numbers on this page are computed live, so they stay current.

On the curve

It launches at a 27.96 SOL market cap. Shares sell on pump.fun's own curve, so each one costs what the token will on pump.fun:

0
Sold: 0%
Market cap: 28.0 SOL
10
Sold: 34%
Market cap: 49.7 SOL
17.6
Sold: 50%
Market cap: 70.3 SOL
30
Sold: 68%
Market cap: 111.8 SOL
50
Sold: 85%
Market cap: 198.8 SOL
80
Sold: 98%
Market cap: 375.9 SOL
85.0
Sold: 100%
Market cap: 410.9 SOL

Every buy pays 1% to the platform and 2% into the graduation reserve; every sell pays 1%. Raising 85 SOL on the curve takes about 87.6 SOL of buys: 1.75 SOL goes into the reserve and 0.88 SOL to the platform.

Graduation

  • The 85 SOL buys pump.fun's whole curve: all 793.1M tokens, held for the holders. The market cap is 410.9 SOL.
  • pump.fun's fee on that buy (about 1.25%, ~1.06 SOL) and rent come out of the reserve, and the sender earns 0.01 SOL. The rest of the reserve, about 0.67 SOL, goes to the creator.
  • Part of that fee, 0.3% (~0.26 SOL), is pump.fun's creator fee, so it comes back to the coin's creator too: about 0.93 SOL of the reserve ends up with the creator. On a coin with an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets it comes through the vault and is shared out like any creator fee.

On PumpSwap

pump.fun moves the 85 SOL and the other 206.9M tokens into the coin's pool: about 67.4 SOL of real SOL, and about 17.6 SOL in the pool's boost vault, which counts toward the price but never comes out. The pool opens at the curve's last price, a 410.9 SOL market cap: no drop at migration. Shares turn into tokens one for one; nobody loses any. Until the pool opens, usually seconds after graduation, nobody can trade the coin.

What holders can take out

What 1 SOL bought at different points is worth after graduation:

At launch
1 SOL bought: 33.6M tokens
Worth at the graduation price: 13.81 SOL
Selling it alone into the new pool: ~11.84 SOL
34% sold
1 SOL bought: 19.1M tokens
Worth at the graduation price: 7.83 SOL
Selling it alone into the new pool: ~7.15 SOL
Half sold
1 SOL bought: 13.5M tokens
Worth at the graduation price: 5.55 SOL
Selling it alone into the new pool: ~5.20 SOL
90% sold
1 SOL bought: 3.8M tokens
Worth at the graduation price: 1.57 SOL
Selling it alone into the new pool: ~1.53 SOL
Near the end
1 SOL bought: 2.6M tokens
Worth at the graduation price: 1.05 SOL
Selling it alone into the new pool: ~1.03 SOL

Selling alone gets less than the price shows because a sale moves the price, more so for a big bag, and PumpSwap takes its own fee on every trade (pump.fun sets it; counted here as 0.3%).

If every holder sold everything into the pool, together they'd get about 67.2 SOL back for the 87.6 SOL they paid, about 23% less: the boost vault's 17.6 SOL stays in the pool, and fees. Early buyers and early sellers come out ahead; the last to sell take the loss. New buyers on PumpSwap are what hold the price up. Every graduated pump.fun coin works this way.

If it doesn't graduate

  • With locked sells, a missed deadline refunds everything but the platform fee: 1 SOL in, 0.99 SOL back (the creator's own anti-snipe fee isn't refunded either).
  • Without locked sells, anyone can sell back on the curve at any time, at the curve's price less 1% and any sell tax.
  • A coin that sold out but hasn't graduated 7 days later turns to refunds: the crank sends it, and anyone can press Turn to refunds on the coin's page. Without locked sells the curve's SOL and the reserve are shared by shares held, and early shares cost less, so the first 1 SOL in gets about 3.7 SOL back and the last 1 SOL in about 0.26 SOL.

Vesting

Without vesting, every share is claimable as a token at the bond. With it, a position covered by the vesting gets the unlocked part at the bond and the rest in a straight line over the vesting time:

unlocked = shares × (at the bond + (1 − at the bond) × min(time since the bond, vesting time) ÷ vesting time)
Vesting: 50% at the bond, the rest over 7 days
Tokens unlock in a straight line from the bond. Halfway, 75% can be claimed. Wallets the vesting doesn't cover get everything at the bond (dashed).

Vesting can cover everyone, only the creator, or the creator and every wallet holding at least a set share of the supply (big wallets). The crank delivers unlocked tokens as they unlock; holders can also claim them on the coin's page or in Portfolio.

Refunds

A launch turns to refunds when:

  • it has locked sells and its deadline passes before it sells out;
  • it sold out with locked sells but couldn't graduate within 2 days of its deadline;
  • it sold out but still hasn't graduated 7 days later (say pump.fun was down);
  • the admin cancels it because it can't graduate (say pump.fun changed its curve).

The first three need no one's permission: the crank turns the launch to refunds as soon as it can, and anyone can press Turn to refunds on the coin's page.

With locked sells, each buyer gets back exactly the SOL they put into the vault: everything but the platform fee, the creator's tax and the reserve included (on these launches the creator's tax waits for the bond). The creator's own anti-snipe fee went to Pump², so it isn't refunded.

Without locked sells, the creator keeps the fees it earned, and the SOL left on the curve, with the reserve, is shared by shares held. Early shares cost less than late ones, so early buyers can get back more than they paid and late buyers less: on a coin that sold out and then turned to refunds, the first 1 SOL in gets about 3.7 SOL back and the last 1 SOL in about 0.26 SOL.

Refunds go out automatically, one position after another, and each position's rent goes back to its owner; there's also a Refund button.

After the bond

pump.fun creator fees
From the curve buyout, then from every trade on its PumpSwap pool.
The launch's vault
With an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets, the vault is the coin's creator on pump.fun, so its fees come to the program.
The hook's share
Buyback: buys the coin on PumpSwap and burns it.
Holder rewards: shared over the tokens holders keep in Pump².
The rest
To the creator, and any fee-share wallets.

pump.fun keeps the curve-era creator fee in the bonding curve until it's swept to the creator, and PumpSwap keeps the pool's creator fees in its own vault. When the launch's vault is the coin's creator (an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets), the crank pulls both into it every 30 minutes and splits them: the hook's share stays for the hook, the rest is the creator's, shared with any fee-split wallets.

Buyback & burn

How often
Value: One buy each 10 minutes
Why: A little at a time, not one big buy
Each buy
Value: At most 1 SOL
Why: Nobody can drain the pool into one bad price
Pool share
Value: At most 0.1% of the pool's SOL
Why: That moves the price about 0.2%, less than PumpSwap's fee on one trade, and a sandwich pays that fee twice
Kept back
Value: 0.005 SOL
Why: Rent PumpSwap may charge the vault
Dips
Value: Optional: only when the price is X% under its highest seen
Why: Buy weakness, not strength
The tokens
Value: Burned
Why: Supply only goes down

Holder rewards

Rewards go to the positions from before the bond, for the tokens they keep in Pump² (the vault), not for tokens in wallets: a bag moved between wallets can't collect twice. The program keeps a running total of rewards per token:

rewards per token += hook's share of the fees ÷ tokens still in Pump²
your rewards = tokens you keep here × (rewards per token now − when you last checked in)

Only you can claim your tokens out on these coins (nobody can push them out for you), and doing so checks you in first, so what they earned is kept for you; they just stop earning after. The crank pays rewards out once a day once there's 0.01 SOL to share; you can collect yours any time on the coin's page or in Portfolio. If nobody is left in Pump² when fees come in, the hook's share goes to the creator.

Holder rewards, worked through: 1 SOL of fees comes in, B claims out, then 1 SOL more
Holder1st SOL2nd SOLTotal
A keeps 100M here0.50000.66671.1667
B keeps 50M, then claims them out0.25000.00000.2500
C keeps 50M here0.25000.33330.5833
Rewards are shared over the tokens still in Pump² when the fees come in. B's first 0.25 SOL stays B's after claiming out; B just doesn't share in what comes after.

Creator earnings

Creator tax and anti-snipe fees
When: Collect any time from Earnings. On launches with locked sells they wait for the bond, since refunds would return them.
The reserve's leftover
When: At graduation
pump.fun creator fees
When: Without an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets they go to the creator through pump.fun, as for any pump.fun coin. With either, they come through the vault: the share that isn't the hook's shows in Earnings, and fee-split wallets get their part of it.

A fee split cuts each payout once, as the creator collects: each wallet's part is kept for it until it's paid, so nothing the creator does can shrink it.

Everywhere launches

An Everywhere coin trades on Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve before the bond. It's a real token from the first block, held in buyers' own wallets, so any app that trades Meteora coins can trade it. When the curve completes, Pump²'s bridge creates the coin on pump.fun, buys out pump.fun's curve with the SOL raised, and holds those tokens for holders to swap 1:1.

1Launch on Meteora
A real token from the first block, on Meteora's curve. Its rules are fixed for life.
2Trade anywhere
Any app that trades Meteora coins trades it. Hooked coins check Pump²'s rules on every transfer.
3Bond at 100 SOL
The curve completes and Meteora moves its liquidity to a pool. Pump² can withdraw 90% of it.
4Bridge
One transaction withdraws it, creates the coin on pump.fun and buys out its curve.
5Swap 1:1
It trades on PumpSwap as a real pump.fun coin. Every Meteora token swaps for one, any time.
Where it trades
Only on Pump²: On Pump² only
Everywhere: Any app: Axiom, GMGN, Phantom, OKX, Jupiter and others
Everywhere with Pump² hooks: Axiom, GMGN, Phantom, OKX and others; not Jupiter's main router
What you hold
Only on Pump²: Shares, recorded for your wallet
Everywhere: Meteora tokens in your wallet
Everywhere with Pump² hooks: Meteora tokens in your wallet
Its rules
Only on Pump²: Every hook
Everywhere: Meteora's own: anti-snipe and volatility fees, a locked creator allocation
Everywhere with Pump² hooks: Meteora's own, plus Pump²'s rules in a transfer hook
Raise to graduate
Only on Pump²: ~85 SOL (pump.fun's curve)
Everywhere: 100 SOL
Everywhere with Pump² hooks: 100 SOL
At the bond
Only on Pump²: A real pump.fun coin; shares become tokens
Everywhere: A real pump.fun coin; tokens swap 1:1
Everywhere with Pump² hooks: A real pump.fun coin; tokens swap 1:1

The curve

Each Everywhere coin gets its own Meteora settings. Buyers put 100 SOL into the curve (after its fee) for 761.5M of the 1B tokens, and the curve ends on pump.fun's final price. That's 3.5 SOL more and 7.5M tokens fewer than an exact fit, which is the bridge's slack (see the bridge). A creator allocation comes out of the tokens sold.

The settings make Pump²'s vault for the coin Meteora's partner: it gets all of the liquidity when the curve completes, 10% locked for good and 90% for it to withdraw, and any SOL left on the curve. Meteora's own cut of the liquidity at that moment is at most 1% (0.2% today). Pump² refuses to register a coin whose settings say anything else.

Fees

Trading fee
Rate: 1% of every trade on the curve
Goes to: 80% the creator, 20% Meteora. Collected from the coin's Meteora pool.
Anti-snipe fee
Rate: Optional: up to 50% at the open, falling to 1% within an hour
Goes to: Paid like the trading fee
Volatility fee
Rate: Optional: up to 0.2% more while the price swings
Goes to: Paid like the trading fee
Bridge leftover
Rate: What the pump.fun buyout doesn't need, about 3.7 SOL
Goes to: 0.01 SOL to the sender, then half to Pump², half to the creator
Locked pool's fees
Rate: The 10% locked pool's trading fees, for good
Goes to: The creator (the crank pulls them every 30 minutes)
pump.fun creator fees
Rate: After the bond, as for any pump.fun coin
Goes to: The creator, or through the vault with an after-bond hook or fee split

Pump² takes no fee on trades before the bond. Its only income from an Everywhere coin is its half of the bridge's leftover.

Everywhere: rules

Meteora's own

These live in the coin's Meteora settings, so Meteora applies them on every trade, whatever app sends it. Pump² checks their bounds when it registers the coin, and nobody can change them after.

Trading fee
What it does: 1% of every trade on the curve: 80% to the creator, 20% to Meteora. Pump² takes nothing before the bond.
Limits: Fixed at 1%
Anti-snipe fee
What it does: Starts high when the coin opens and steps down to the 1% trading fee, fast at first or in a straight line. Buys and sells pay it, paid like the trading fee. The creator's first buy, sent with the launch, pays 1%.
Limits: Over 1% up to 50%, falling over 1 minute to 1 hour
Volatility fee
What it does: Adds a little to each trade while the price swings hard, paid like the trading fee.
Limits: Up to a fifth of the trading fee (0.2%)
Creator allocation
What it does: Tokens minted for the creator and locked with Jupiter Lock when the curve completes: part unlocked then, the rest daily. Claimed on Meteora, then swapped 1:1 like anyone's. The curve sells that many fewer tokens, so every token still has its pump.fun coin.
Limits: Up to 10% of the supply; up to half unlocked at the bond; vesting 30 days to 1 year

Pump²'s transfer hook

An Everywhere with Pump² hooks coin is a Token-2022 token on Meteora's transfer-hook curve. Token-2022 calls Pump²'s hook program on every transfer of it, and the hook refuses any that break the coin's rules. A transfer out of the curve's vault is a buy, one into it is a sell, and anything else is a wallet-to-wallet move, refused until the bond. In the swap that completes the curve, Meteora switches the hook off for good, so the migration, the bridge and the 1:1 swap run as for any token.

Scheduled open
What it does: No trades before the time set; then everyone starts together. No first buy with it.
Limits: Up to 7 days ahead
Creator's block
What it does: Nobody but the creator can buy in the second the coin opens.
Limits: Not with a scheduled open
Whitelist
What it does: Only wallets the creator listed can buy until the window ends.
Limits: Up to 24 hours
Holders only
What it does: Only wallets that registered a pass on Pump², holding a set amount of a token the creator picks, can buy. The token is checked when the pass is registered.
Limits: Any token
Anti-bundle
What it does: At most this many buys in one block, anyone's.
Limits: 1 to 20 buys per block
Biggest buy
What it does: The most SOL one buy may put into the curve.
Limits: At least 0.01 SOL
Wallet cap
What it does: No wallet may hold more than this share of the supply.
Limits: 0.1% to 100%
Rising wallet cap
What it does: The cap starts where it's set and rises every so often, by a step or doubling.
Limits: Every 1 minute to 7 days
Sniper-fee cap
What it does: Buys paying more than the caps in priority fee or tips are refused. Tips sent from another transaction, or from inside a router's program, can't be seen.
Limits: Up to 1 SOL each, for up to 24 hours or until the bond
Sell lock
What it does: Nobody can sell until the bond, or until a time after the open. With no refunds: if the curve never completes, the SOL stays in it.
Limits: Until the bond, or up to 1 year
Dev lock
What it does: The creator's wallet can't sell until the bond, or until a time after the open.
Limits: Until the bond, or up to 1 year
Hold time
What it does: A wallet can't sell within this long of its last buy.
Limits: Up to 7 days
Sell cap
What it does: The most one account may sell in one block, as a share of the supply; several sells in one block count together.
Limits: Up to 100% of the supply
The Grudge
What it does: A wallet that sells a set share of its bag within 24 hours can't buy for a while, optionally longer each time.
Limits: Up to 30 days
No transfers
What it does: Tokens can't move wallet to wallet before the bond, so none of the above can be dodged by moving them. After the bond the coin moves freely.
Limits: Always on
  • The rules are written when the coin's settings are made, signed by the coin's own mint key, so nobody else can set them, and nobody can change them after.
  • The hook keeps a small record for each holder's token account (its last buy, recent sells, a grudge, its whitelist place and pass). Pump²'s buys open it; for traders who came from another app, the crank opens one within seconds and pays its rent. On a coin with a hold time, sell cap or grudge, a sell with no record is refused until it exists, and the hold time counts from when it was opened.
  • Every record's rent (about 0.002 SOL) goes back to whoever paid it after the bond, when the crank closes them.
  • Before the bond, buys must land in the buyer's own token account. Routers that pass the tokens through their own accounts are refused, so Jupiter's main router won't trade the coin; Axiom, GMGN, Phantom, OKX and others send to the wallet and work.
  • Like our own curve's caps, the rules apply per wallet: one person with many wallets gets around wallet caps and buy limits.
With sells locked until the bond there are no refunds: if the curve never completes, the SOL stays in it and holders can't sell. The create page says so next to the option.

Everywhere: the bridge

One transaction
1Withdraw
The 90% of the pool's liquidity that Pump²'s vault owns comes out, and its Meteora tokens are burned. About 90 SOL.
2Create on pump.fun
The vault creates the coin with pump.fun's own instruction: same name, ticker and picture.
3Buy out its curve
About 86 SOL buys pump.fun's whole curve, so it completes at once. The tokens stay in the vault for the swap.
4Split what's left
About 3.7 SOL: 0.01 SOL to whoever sent it, then half to Pump² and half to the creator.
Right after (the crank, or anyone)
Pool opens
pump.fun's migration opens the coin's canonical PumpSwap pool. From the bond to here usually takes under a minute.
Swap 1:1
Holders swap their Meteora tokens for the pump.fun coin on its page, any time. The program refuses to graduate unless there's a pump.fun token for every Meteora token left.
  • When the curve completes, Meteora moves its liquidity to a DAMM v2 pool (on mainnet Meteora's own keeper gets a 30-second head start, then the crank sends it). The bridge follows at once; anyone can send either step.
  • The withdrawal and the buyout are two instructions in one transaction: the withdrawal checks that the buyout comes next, so the liquidity can only leave the pool to buy out pump.fun's curve.
  • The two steps can't share a transaction with Meteora's move, so a few trades may hit the new pool in between. The curve's slack absorbs 3 SOL of that either way; past it, the bridge rebalances on the pool in the same transaction, up to about 7 SOL either way.
  • It fails unless there's a pump.fun token in the vault for every Meteora token left, the creator's locked allocation included.
  • With an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets the vault becomes the pump.fun coin's creator, so its creator fees come back through the program; otherwise the coin's creator is the launch's creator.

Swapping 1:1

After the bridge, any holder can swap any amount of Meteora tokens for the pump.fun coin on its page, any time: the Meteora tokens are burned and as many pump.fun tokens come out of the vault. There's no snapshot and no deadline. Since the 10% locked pool keeps trading the old token for good, anyone who buys it there can swap it too; the coin's page warns people not to.

After the bond

An Everywhere coin can have the same after-bond hooks as our own curve's coins, with the same caps: buyback & burn with a share of its creator fees (tokens it buys are burned, never the ones kept for the swap), and a fee split with up to three wallets. Holder rewards aren't available, since the tokens move freely after the bond and one bag could collect again and again.

The crank

Every step after launch can be sent by anyone. Pump² runs a crank that sends them for everyone every few seconds, with a priority fee so they land when the network is busy:

Close one-price windows
When: When the window ends (or the next trade does it)
Graduate
When: Within seconds of a curve selling out, if the last buy didn't
Open the PumpSwap pool
When: On its next pass after graduation
Deliver tokens
When: Once the pool is open, and as vesting unlocks (not on holder-rewards coins)
Expire and refund
When: When a deadline passes unsold, or a sold-out coin can't graduate (see Refunds)
Collect fees
When: After graduation and refunds
Pull pump.fun creator fees
When: Every 30 minutes, for coins with an after-bond hook or fee-split wallets
Buy back
When: Every 10 minutes, when there's 0.015 SOL to spend
Pay holder rewards
When: Daily, when there's 0.01 SOL to share
Everywhere: Meteora's move to its pool
When: When the curve completes (on mainnet, after Meteora's keeper has had 30 seconds)
Everywhere: the bridge
When: Right after Meteora's move
Everywhere: the locked pool's fees
When: Every 30 minutes, to the creator
Everywhere: hook records
When: Every 10 seconds before the bond, for holders who came from another app; closed after the bond

The admin can pause new launches and buys in an emergency; sells, claims, refunds and payouts keep working while paused. The admin can also cancel a launch still on its curve, which turns it to refunds. The admin can't change any launch's hooks, its platform fee or reserve, or take its SOL. While Pump² is new, its programs (the launchpad and the transfer hook) can still be upgraded by its deploy key; once they've been audited, they'll be made unchangeable or moved behind a multisig with a delay. Pausing doesn't stop trading on Meteora's curve, which Pump² doesn't control.
